These pieces were started in the beginning of this year. I started working on the laminated wood piece mainly because the larger pieces of basswood that I have are still not dry. I have a few pieces of dry basswood around, but I wanted to start in a medium where I would have large supplies readily available.

Working with the construction lumber has also given me more flexibility when it comes to scale. I have three 8 foot panels that I am working on now--and plans for larger pieces that I hope to develop into commissioned work later.
