I love to see the colors develop as the white is slowly removed from the painting. There is still subtle color relationships between the blues and the red&magenta line color. It’s always surprising to see the line recede and the color of the forms start to float.

I paint each section 2XS (including the line) until all of the sections are filled. Then I decide whether there needs to be slight color adjustments with semitransparent layers.
